Session DescriptionThe “bring-your-own-device” (BYOD) movement is a big red flag for businesses – there are more mobile devices outside the organization communicating with key data and applications than ever before. What knowledge will an E2 attendee gain or benefit from your session? It’s common for today’s IT departments to oversecure to mitigate any potential threat. Nathaniel Borenstein proposes that actually employing all these safeguards effectively is a waste of resources. Session DescriptionAs companies become increasingly virtual, new mobile apps are being developed and used to address the task-specific business issues of end users. While businesses capitalize on innovative ways to mobilize sales teams and strengthen customer relationships, the fundamental functions of the organization are frequently overlooked. So, why not make these actions as simple and as easy as other aspects of the business world? And why not make these actions mobile? Specifically, mobile governance, risk and compliance (GRC) apps deliver more consumable information and processes that enable people to keep track of policy changes while also facilitating reviews, time-sensitive approvals and employee authorizations to access systems. Through intuitive screens and surveys, companies are taking advantage of device adoption to help users perform better and work from anywhere in order to optimize their performance and deliver greater value to the organization.
What knowledge will an E2 attendee gain or benefit from your session? As mobile adoption is being embraced by businesses, attendees will learn how remote workers are using GRC applications to complete their job functions while on the move. This includes how analytics features, such as intuitive user interfaces with easy-to-understand task flows, are being integrated into all aspects of business functions. This presentation will drill-down into specific use cases of how workers can use mobile devices to ensure compliance to policies and procedures when working remotely.
