Certido delivered SaaS based solutions for streamlining and automating the processes centered around the management of outsourcing operations. Prior to his stint with Caritor and Certido, Phani held multiple roles in product marketing and CRM strategy at Siebel Systems including leading the launch and execution of one of the product lines in the Asia, Pacific and Japan regions.

 

He received a B.S. in Engineering from Osmania University, an MS in Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, and an M.B.A from Harvard University.

Vinay Iyer is the Vice President of Global Marketing at SAP responsible for 360° Customer Experience thought leadership, social media marketing, go-to-market strategy and execution and customer engagement. 

 

Vinay is co-author of a new how-to book titled ‘Customer Experience Edge’ published by the prestigious McGraw Hill.  The book discusses techniques and technologies for helping organizations deliver a true 360 degree customer experience, and it has received excellent early reviews from key influencers like Paul Greenberg and customers like CEMEX USA.  The book is now available on Amazon.com and book stores in the US.

 

Prior to joining SAP, Vinay held various roles for over 5 years at Siebel Systems in the US and EMEA for both on-premise and on-demand applications.  Vinay brings a wide range of experience spanning product development, marketing, thought leadership, business development and sales.  He is a frequent speaker at conferences, and is now championing SAP’s rapid growth in the market.

 

Vinay has a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and an MBA from the Wharton Business School.  He lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and two kids.
